Main Research Direction and Achievements
His research focuses on the use of nanomedicine for the treatment of various human diseases including myocardial infarction and cancer.
He works on extracellular vesicles (EVs), EV-mimetics (including artificial cell-derived vesicles and synthetic vesicles) and plant-derived vesicles.
He is one of the first researchers in Singapore to work on plant-derived vesicles and is the lead author of a highly downloaded review article on plant-derived vesicles published in the Journal of Extracellular Vesicles.
