Domain specialist in obstetric ultrasound, birth defect screening and prenatal diagnosis. 
Was tasked to develop the subspecialty of Fetal Medicine in KK Hospital in 1993.  
Performed the first fetal blood transfusion in Singapore in 1994, cFTS programme in 2004, started the laser dichorionisation programme in June 2011 and the NIPT Lab in KK Hospital in 2016. 
Recognized as an experienced and proficient Fetal Medicine Specialist skilled in prenatal invasive procedures.
Now practicing in the Mount Elizabeth Novena Medical Centre, he is an Emeritus Consultant to Singapore Health Services and Professor to Singhealth-Duke-NUS Medical School.
