•The incumbent Co-secretary of the Asia Pacific Society
for Immunodeficiencies (APSID).
•The founder member and Secretary of the Indian Society
for Immune Deficiency (ISPID).
•Research interest include next-generation sequencing
for inborn errors of immunity, genetic defects in antibody deficiencies,
complement deficiencies, and mechanisms of autoimmunity in chronic
granulomatous disease.
•Awarded the prestigious BGRC Silver Jubilee Oration
Award in 2018 by the Indian Council of Medical Research and the Dr V R Khanolkar Oration Award
(2021-22) by the National Academy of Medical Sciences for his research work on
Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases.
