Dr Yan earned his PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Peking Union Medical University in 2015
Worked as a postdoc under the supervision of Dr Wei Chen in the Department of Epidemiology at Tulane University in US during 2017-2019.
Current research mainly focuses on childhood obesity related diseases and their lifespan health impacts
Has authored over 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles as first or corresponding author.
