Dr Fung obtained her medical degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She was then trained in pediatrics in Prince of Wales Hospital, one of the two teaching hospitals in Hong Kong.  She subsequently found her interest in pediatric neurology. She had her subspecialty training in State University of New York- Brooklyn Health Center and also Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London.  After returning to Hong Kong, she was active in the development of subspecialty of Paediatric Neurology in Hong Kong. She is currently the Consultant Paediatrician in charge of the neurology service in her department. She has special interest in epilepsy. She is currently serving as the Vice President of the Hong Kong Epilepsy Society, Honorary Secretary of Paediatric Neurology Subspecialty Board and council member of Paediatric Neurology Association of Hong Kong.
