Ms. Susanna Lee is currently the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital. She has been the Associate Professor (Nursing Practice) at the School of Nursing, the University of Hong Kong from 2018-2019. She was the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA) Head Office (HO) from 2011-2017 and shouldered the leadership role in corporate nursing services operations, nursing specialty development including paediatrics and health care management at a corporate level for public hospitals under HA.

Ms Susanna Lee is the former Vice President (2015- 2021) and now the Honorary Professional Consultant of the Hong Kong Academy of Nursing.  She contributed greatly in the formulation of core competencies of Advanced and Specialized Practice Nurse for the Voluntary Scheme of Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) registration in the Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK), a new government initiative which has been successfully launched in January 2021.  With vast experiences working in Paediatrics, She is the Convenor of the Advanced Paediatric Nursing Panel in developing the Advanced Paediatric Nurse (Paediatrics) core competencies under NCHKK. She is also the Chairman of Licensure Examination Sub-committee of Registered Nurse (Sick Children) of NCHK for nurses trained outside Hong Kong SAR, China. Ms Lee is also the Immediate Past President of Hong Kong College of Paediatric Nursing.

Internationally, she is the Founding President and current Secretary General of The Asia Pacific Paediatric Nurses Association (APPNA). She established The APPNA in 2012 which comprises of 8 country/region Member Associations including Australia, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.   She is also the International Council of Nurses (ICN) Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse Network Health Policy Subgroup member.
