Short biography>

Professor Yoon-Seok Chang is currently working as the Head of the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, the Department of Internal Medicine, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Seoul National University since 2003. He received his Doctor of Medicine, Master of Science, and Ph.D. in Medicine from Seoul National University. He has published more than 250 peer-reviewed papers (229 original, 42 review articles: h-index 47), 20 editorials, 16 books (chapter author), and 3 patents. His main research topics are asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic cough, drug allergy, anaphylaxis, and community medicine.

He is also the Head of the Medical Research Collaboration Center of the hospital, and the Head of Gyeonggi-Do Atopy∙Asthma Education Information Center. He has been an active member of academic societies: Chair of the International Committee, the Korean Academy of Asthma, Allergy, and Clinical Immunology (KAAACI), Secretary General of Asia Pacific Association of Allergy, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology (APAAACI), and the Editor-in-Chief of Asia Pacific Allergy. He has been serving as the editorial board members (AAIR, Allergy, Clinical Translational Allergy, Immune Network, and Clinical Nutritional Research) and the committee members (Korean Association of Internal Medicine, Korean Association of Immunologists, Korean Association of Medical Journal Editors, APAAACI)

In World Allergy Organization (WAO), he has been served as the committee members (Healthcare Delivery Committee (2014-2015), Drug Hypersensitivity Reactions Committee (2018-2019)), and the House of Delegate representing KAAACI (2018-2019), and WAO Board member (2020~current).
