Speakers Name: Chihiro Miyashita

Affiliation：Center for Environmental and Health Sciences, Hokkaido University, Japan

Dr. Miyashita has research achievement in public health sciences and epidemiology. Her major research activity of the division is epidemiology of birth cohort study and long-term effects of environmental chemicals including hereditary toxicity. She has worked for 11 years with an ongoing birth cohort study ;the Hokkaido Study on Environment and Children’s Health, with a focus on effect of environmental factors including persistent organic pollutants on pregnant women and children’s health. Her current research interest focuses on epigenetic modifications by exposure to environmental chemicals.
