Lizhong Du is the head of neonatal service, and professor of pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, China. He has been the Chairman of Chinese Neonatal Society from July 2007 to April 2019. He was graduated from medical school in 1982 and got his PhD in 1990. As a neonatologist, he has been working in the area of neonatal intensive care since 1984. Since 1985, he has been trained in United States (1985-1986) and France (1994-1995) for advanced neonatal care. His research has focused on the management of neonatal respiratory failure, neonatal jaundice and other critical problems of the newborn. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed international papers. He is member of Societies for Pediatric Research (SPR) (USA) and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Pediatrics.
