Title: Cross-talks between mitophagy and innate immunity and inflammation

Biography:

Prof Han-Ming Shen is a Chair Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Macau (UM). He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Master of Medicine from Zhejiang Medical University (now part of Zhejiang University) and PhD from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his postdoctoral training in both NUS and the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, USA. Before joining UM in early 2020, he worked at NUS School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor. His main research interests are in the field of cancer cell biology, focusing on autophagy-lysosome biology, mitophagy and cancer metabolism. He has published more than 200 research papers and served in the editorial board for many high impact journals including Autophagy.
