Dr. Lu Xia, MD, PhD

Director and chief consultant for the Department of Gastroenterology and endoscopic center, Shanghai  Jiahui International Hospital, she also served as associate professor in Ruijin Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of Medicine before 2014 and Adjunct Associate Professor of Division of Gastroenterology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine USA  from 2009 to 2011.

Her clinical and research interests include IBD and GI endoscopy, focused on in inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancer screening and endoscopic ultrasonography. She is  the member of the Chinese Society of Digestive Disease, Shanghai(2017,2021, 2024), Young Member of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology (CSG, 2010, 2014) and the Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy (2013).
