Professor Amy Kit Yu FU is a Research Professor in the Division of Life Science and Associate Director of the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on discovering blood biomarkers for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the condition. She aims to identify therapeutic targets in the innate immune and blood systems through genetic association analysis. With over 90 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, Prof. Fu’s findings have laid a strong foundation for developing new therapeutic strategies.
