Wei F Chen is a leading expert in lymphatic surgery at Cleveland Clinic, where he serves as the professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery，the director of the Lymphatic Supermicrosurgery fellowship program, thehead of Regional Microsurgery & Supermicrosurgery，as well as the director of center for Lymphedema Research and Reconstruction. He workerd as the president of Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons once. He is recognized for his pioneering work in lymphatic-venous anastomosis (LVA) and its clinical applications, particularly in addressing neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease. His collaboration with international experts, including Professor Xie Qingping’s team from China, has advanced the use of supermicrosurgical techniques to improve cerebral lymphatic drainage, demonstrating significant potential in reversing symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.
