Pan Wei-Ren (English name: Pan Wei-Ren), born in April 1955, is of Han ethnicity and holds dual doctoral degrees, including a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a PhD, both from the University of Melbourne. He currently serves as a Distinguished Professor at Xuzhou Medical University and a doctoral supervisor based in Australia. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Director and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Plastic Surgery at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His primary research focuses on human angiosomes and the human lymphatic system. To date, he has published over 70 papers indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI) and authored or co-authored several monographs in both Chinese and English. He has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious James Barrett Brown Award, the highest honor bestowed by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
