Notable innovations include:
- Pioneering a series of new surgical techniques for toe-shaped finger reconstruction and full-form finger reconstruction
- Performing the world’s first replantation of a severed finger cryopreserved at -196℃ for 81 days
- Being the first in China to report on microsurgical replantation of tiny hand tissue blocks, non-transverse osteotomy replantation, and the anatomical relationship between vascular myofascial perforators and intermuscular tissues
