He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoedema of the extremities, hand and foot trauma, wound repair, reimplantation, reconstruction, osteomyelitis, hand and foot tumours, peripheral nerve injuries, functional reconstruction, etc. He has published more than 10 academic papers, including 5 SCI papers and 4 SCI papers as the first author.

He is a member of the Chinese Medical Association's Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Section.
