To advance the modernization of traditional medicine, foster innovation, and enhance the development of new high-quality productive forces within the field of traditional medicine, as well as to facilitate international communication, the "Global Conference on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Medicine-derived Extracellular Vesicles (2024)" will be jointly organized by Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, the Guangdong Engineering Research Center of Chinese Herbal Vesicles, the Chinese Society of Extracellular Vesicles, Chinese Research Hospital Association, the Specialized Committee on Chinese Herbal Medicine-derived Extracellular Vesicles of GDACM, and the Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. This conference is scheduled to take place in Guangzhou on August 23-25.
    The conference centered on the theme of utilizing medicinal plant-derived Extracellular Vesicles to advance global pharmaceutical development. It explored the opportunities and challenges associated with Chinese herbal-derived extracellular vesicles in the integration and innovation of traditional medicine. Through special reports and roundtable discussions, high-level research findings were shared, domestic and international collaboration plans were formulated, and efforts were made to enhance global exchanges and cooperation, foster collaborative innovation, and support the preservation and advancement of traditional medicine practices.
