Dr Nikki Fong is a Paediatrician working in the Genetics Service at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) in Singapore, which cares for children with a variety of rare diseases. Dr Nikki Fong obtained her M.B.B.S from the National University of Singapore in 2013 and completed her Paediatric Residency in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in 2019. She is actively involved in research and obtained a Pediatric Academic Program-Tan Cheng Lim grant for her project ‘Expanding newborn screening for treatable inherited disorders by using targeted genetic analysis’.” She also follows many patients with Neurofibromatosis type 1, having set up the multi-disciplinary clinic for NF1 in KK Hospital in 2021, and is involved in the NF1 registry. Dr Nikki Fong has also been actively involved in medical education, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in Duke-NUS Medical School.
