Weihong Song is a member of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, Professor. He is the Academic Vice President of Wenzhou Medical University, Director of Oujiang Laboratory (Zhejiang Provincial Laboratory), President of Alberta College, Director of the Institute of Geriatric Research, and Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Alzheimer's Disease. He has served as Canada Research Chair in Alzheimer's Disease, tenured Chair at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Deputy Director of the Institute of Mental Health, and Director of the Townsend Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. Mr. Song has been involved in Alzheimer's disease research for a long time, and has achieved a series of international leading results. He has published more than a hundred academic papers in international journals such as Nature Cell Biology, Nature Medicine, PNAS, Neuron, JCI, JEM, etc. He is also a member of the Journal of Clinical Investigation. He serves as an editorial board member of Journal of Clinical Investigation, and associate editor and editorial board member of several international journals.
