In order to promote the development of neurosurgery in China and strengthen the academic exchange between neurosurgery and related fields, the "2024 West China Neurosurgery Conference and 2024 West China Neurosurgery Academic Week" will be held in Chengdu from November 29 to December 1, 2024, hosted by the West China Medical Technology Transfer Center and organized by West China Hospital of Sichuan University.

The West China Neurosurgery Academic Week has been successfully held for six consecutive years, and the West China Neurosurgery Summit and the West China Neurosurgery Course have become a prestigious academic platform in China. The conference will include academic modules such as pre-conference training courses, a pre-conference meeting, special live surgeries in West China Hospital, special academic lectures, real case analysis and clinical translational research, providing a platform for domestic neurosurgery colleagues and scholars of related specialties to exchange and cooperate, promote each other, and strengthen academic exchanges and connections between regions to further promote the development of neurosurgery.
