We are delighted to invite you to the 2nd Euro-China Joint Forum of Critical Care Medicine (ECJFCCM2025), which will be held in Changsha, Hunan, China at 23 May from 14:00 to 18:00 and 24 May from 08:00 to 12:00.
The forum is organized by Chinese Medical Association and Chinese Society of Critical Care Medicine (CSCCM) and European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM).
ECJFCCM2025 will continue to focus on cooperation & innovation. The Grand Opening Ceremony will take place in the afternoon on May 23, 2025.

Airport Transfer
You may take a taxi from the Airport Taxi Station to most of the Congress hotels. Taxis are metered. To avoid confusion and overcharge, it is suggested to ask for receipt (pronounced as "Fa Piao" in Chinese) from taxi driver.

1) Visa-free entry into Mainland China - Bilateral Agreement

2) Visa-free entry into Mainland China - Transit in within 72/144 Hours

3) Other Circumstances
If you do not belong to any of the two circumstances above, you are required a visa to enter the People's Republic of China. Please check with your local Chinese embassy or consulate to obtain the necessary documents. Please allow enough time to process your visa. On request during the online registration, the Chinese Medical Association is pleased to send a Visa Letter. Such a letter is not a commitment on the part of the CSCCM to provide any financial support, nor is it a guarantee of the acceptance of an abstract, nor a guarantee that the consulate will issue the visa. While we are pleased to provide documentation of your registration to attend CSCCM2025, visa issuance is at the sole discretion of the consular officer. Letters of invitation and visa letters are sent to only those individuals who are registered to attend CSCCM2025 and whose payments have been verified.
Liability
The Congress is not responsible for airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by participants in the event of program or registration cancellation. Please note, in the event that the 19th Congress of Chinese Society of Critical Care Medicine, also known as CSCCM2025, is abbreviated or canceled because of circumstances beyond the Chinese Medical Association's control, including, but not limited to, civil disturbance, earthquake, electrical outage, explosion, fire, freight embargo, strike or labor unrest, food, hurricane, tornado or other acts of God, an act of war, terrorism, or the act of any government (de facto or de jure), or any government agency or official, the Chinese Medical Association reserve the right, at the Chinese Medical Association's sole discretion, to unilaterally terminate the Congress. In these circumstances, the registrant expressly agrees to waive any claim that he, she, or it may have against the Chinese Medical Association for damages or compensation, including, but not limited to, fees for registration, housing, airfare, and /or incidental charges.
Climate
Late May is early summer in Changsha with an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit).
Credit Cards and Currency
Major credit cards like Master, Visa and American Express are acceptable in most big shopping centers and hotels. Major foreign currencies can be changed to the Chinese currency RMB at the airport, the Bank of China or hotels. American dollars can be changed into Chinese currency (RMB yuan) at a rate of about USD 1 to RMB 7.34 as of April 2025, but the exchange rate is subject to change.
Time Difference
China Time is 8 hours ahead of GMT
Internet/Wifi Connection
Facilities such as Internet/Wifi Connection are available in hotels, big shopping centers, and the Congress Venue.
Tipping
Except for some tour guides and hotel porters, no people in China expect tipping.
Electricity
The local voltage is 200-240 volts AC, 50 cycles. Transformers reducing the voltage to 110-120 volts, 60 cycles are available in some hotels.
