The China Southern Endovascular Congress (SEC), founded in 2006, has established itself as one of the largest and most influential events in the field of vascular disease. Organized by the Vascular Surgery Research Center of Sun Yat-sen University and the Guangdong Provincial Health Management Association, in collaboration with the National Cardiovascular Disease Expert Committee Vascular Surgery Professional Committee, and medical associations from eleven southern provinces, the SEC has consistently attracted thousands of professionals from around the world. The 17th SEC in 2024 set a new record with over 5,800 offline attendees, 6,800 online registrants, and 800,000 online views, underscoring its growing impact on advancing vascular disease prevention and treatment.
The 18th SEC2025 will feature seven concurrent forums, including the 13th PAD High-Level Salon, the 9th China Young Physician Case Competition, the 7th China Young Vascular Surgeon Clinical Skills Competition, and international forums such as the 8th China-Japan Vascular Surgery Exchange and VEITH@SEC. Renowned domestic and international experts will engage in in-depth discussions on global vascular disease challenges, covering clinical diagnosis, evidence-based medicine, innovation, and nursing care. The congress will also showcase 100 surgical recordings of classic and complex cases, adhering to its mission of "Higher, Better, and Finer" to elevate China's vascular disease research and practice.
