 Jp (Joon Pio) Hong，MD，PhD，MBA


President of WSRM.Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Ulsan College of Medicine and Asan Medical Center. He has board certification in Trauma, Hand and Plastic surgery. He is also an adjunct professor to Georgetown University USA and St Paul University Ethiopia.
He received his BS degree from the Yonsei University of College of Medicine and his MS degree in medicine and PhD degree from the Graduate School of Yonsei University. He received his M.B.A. on medical management from University of Southern California at Marshall School of Business.
 
He currently serves as President of Korean society of Reconstructive Microsurgery and President-Elect for WSRM (World society of Reconstructive Microsurgery) and he is active member is number of professional associations such as American society of plastic surgery, Korean society of Plastic surgery and others.
 
His major work has been research and clinical practice in wound healing, diabetic foot & lower extremity reconstruction, lymphedema and supermicrosurgery. He has performed more than 5500 microsurgery procedures including 800 cases of lymphedema. He is the Editor-in-Chief for Archives of Plastic Surgery and serves on the editorial board for numerous journals including Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, International Wound Journal, Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Journal of Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery and more. He has been invited over 80 countries to present his work and travelled as visiting professor for more than 100 institutions. He has over 270 publications in this field of practice with 28 book chapters including the “Neligan Plastic surgery” and coauthored 2 books including “Lower extremity reconstruction”.
 
He was awarded the “Godina Travelling Fellowship” from the 2015 American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, “Al Fred W. Farmer Lectureship” 2016 from the Canadian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, “Acta Scandinavia Lectureship” 2018 from the Scandinavian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, t

 Zhegang Zhou， MD 


A hand and microsurgery surgeon in China. He has been working in the Hand and Microsurgery and Lymphatic Surgery Department at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital since 2001. He graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University Medical School and completed his orthopedic and hand microsurgery residency in 2004. His specialties include hand surgery, limb salvage and reconstruction, and lymphedema surgery. Dr. Zhou began performing super-microsurgery for lymphedema, trauma, and Alzheimer’s cases and established the first lymphedema center in Shenzhen. It is now the largest lymphedema surgery center in southern China, performing over 430 LVA surgeries annually. He further refined his microsurgical skills by visiting several prestigious institutions worldwide, including the Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky, United States; Meir Medical Center in Israel; the University of Malaysia; and CIH in Tokyo, Japan. In 2023, Dr. Zhou participated in the Best Save Sessions at the WSRM conference in Singapore and won first place in the 2024 KSRM Best Case. His international super-microsurgery fellowship program has welcomed observers and fellows from the United States, Egypt, Iran, Mexico, Turkey, Hong Kong, Spain, and India.
