PowerPoint Instructions

1. Please note that you are to format the aspect ratio of your PowerPoint slides to 16:9. 

2. Please use the Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or above (*.ppt) or (*pptx), to guarantee it can be opened successfully on an on-site PC. 

3. We recommend you to save your PowerPoint presentation using PPT(X) format instead of PPS. 

4. Please note that we cannot guarantee the quality of Macintosh-based presentations, please check in advance their Windows compatibility. 

5.JPG images are the preferred file format for inserted images. GIF, TIF or BMP formats will be accepted as well. 

6. Videos: please take steps to compress your videos (Less than 500M). We can only accept videos created as MPGs, WMVs or AVI formats. If you are not able to convert the files or have a considerable number of MOV files, please ask the technician for help in the Speaker Ready Room to help convert the videos for you. 

7. The operating system of every computer in session room is Microsoft Windows. It is better for speakers who use Keynote to change the format into PPT or PDF. And please note that you cannot use "Presenter View" during your presentation.


Instructions for Chairs/Hosts

1. Please emphasize and uphold the professionalism and objectivity of academic exchanges in the session you are hosting, avoiding any potentially controversial political or sensitive topics; understand and respect cultural differences among various countries and regions to promote intercultural understanding and communication. 

2. Chairs/Hosts should arrive at the venue 20 minutes in advance to check if there are any changes in the conference schedule, if all speakers are present, and if the slide projector and other conference equipment are functioning properly. 

3. Chairs/Hosts must strictly control the progress of the session to ensure all presentations are completed within the scheduled time, without any delays that may affect subsequent arrangements. 

4. If a speaker is absent, do not wait. Start the next presentation immediately and inform the staff in the meeting room after the session.  


Instructions for Speakers

1. The conference will use an automatic transmission system to transmit PowerPoint slides. Please prepare your files on a USB flash memory and upload your slides files at the Speaker Ready Room at least 1 day before the presentation. As the congress system is not compatible with personal laptops, we apologize for not being able to accommodate the use of personal laptops. 

2. Please be presented at least 10 minutes before the session begins.

3. As the official language of the congress is English, please prepare your speech in English. 

4. We kindly request all speakers to adhere strictly to the schedule. There will be a countdown timer displayed at the top of your slides during your presentation.

※ Speakers must submit their slides to the Speaker Ready Room at least 1 day in advance to ensure the slides work correctly.
